KANTETSU Account deletion
Deleting your Kantetsu account
Last updated 5 August 2026
Kantetsu is published by Systems Atlas Project. You can delete your account and everything stored with it in two ways.
In the app — immediate
- Open Settings.
- Under Account, tap Delete account.
- Confirm with Delete permanently.
This happens straight away. You do not need to contact us first.
By email
If you no longer have the app installed, write to kantetsu@systemsatlasproject.com from the email address your account uses, and ask for your Kantetsu account to be deleted. Requests are actioned within 30 days.
What gets deleted
Everything, and immediately:
- your email address and your stored password
- every rule you wrote, including its description and its schedule
- every day you marked kept or broken
- every note you wrote about a day
- your "what's driving you" statement
Deleting from inside the app also erases all of it from the device you are using. Nothing is kept in a recoverable form, on the device or on the server. This cannot be undone.
What is not deleted
If you have ever asked for a password-reset email, that email is in your own inbox and in the logs of the service that delivered it. The code inside it stopped working an hour after it was sent, and it is not linked to anything once your account is gone.
Our hosting provider keeps ordinary server connection logs, which record that a request was made but not what you wrote.
A note on signing out
Signing out is not the same as deleting your account. It removes your rules, logged days and notes from this device, and leaves your account and everything synced to it exactly as it was. Kantetsu offers to upload this device's data before it signs you out, and tells you plainly what each choice does. Sign back in and everything comes down again.
Deleting the app on its own does not delete your account. If you want the account gone, use one of the two routes above.
