Konki 根気
Free on the App Store · iPhone, iPad, MacA training app that counts what you actually did.
Calisthenics, weights and cardio in one log. Every target is derived from your own history rather than a template written in advance, and a pull-up is not recorded as zero kilos.
Not derived from the map · built from a gap noticed directly
Three modalities
One log, whatever the session was.
Konki started as a calisthenics app. The rest was added without diluting that part.
Bodyweight, counted properly
Bodyweight movements carry your own mass as load, so bodyweight work and loaded work sit in the same volume figure.
Estimated maxes you can argue with
A one-rep max is estimated from your working sets, adjusted for reps in reserve. It is shown as an estimate, with the sets it came from.
Paces derived from real efforts
Cardio targets come from your own best recent efforts, not an age-based formula. Miss a stretch of training and the targets fall.
189 exercises, and your own
189 exercises across 74 base movements, plus your own. A custom exercise linked to a known movement inherits its muscle attribution; otherwise you pick one primary muscle. An untagged exercise logs and charts normally, stays out of volume and strain analysis, and says so.
Training with someone
A coach can send you a programme. That is the whole of it.
Connect with a friend or a coach by username. They can send you templates and multi-week programmes, and message you. A coach sees the programmes shared between you and the sessions logged against them — nothing you have not deliberately sent.
Sharing your training log is separate, and off unless you turn it on. You can block any account and report any message; reports are read by a person within 24 hours. There is no feed and no follower count.
Constraints
What Konki will not do.
Each of these makes a number less comfortable and more true. That trade is the design.
- No advertisingNot now and not later, and not a tactic held in reserve while the app is free.
- No invented numbersIf a figure cannot be derived from what you logged, it is not shown.
- No rewriting historyPast sessions stay as they were recorded.
- No account requiredThe app works fully offline and on device.
- No borrowed programmesEverything bundled was written for Konki.
- No growth into a platformIt measures training. It is not becoming something else.
On the name
根気
Konki — the stubbornness that finishes things. The steady persistence that shows up on a day when nothing about it is interesting.
